Mission Statement - Our Goal

The guild is developed with the enjoyment of the members and players in mind, by this we wish to produce only a friendly, helpful environment that everyone will enjoy being a part of. This will be accomplished by only recruiting players that intend to meet the expectations listed under the Membership section below. Do keep in mind that the said enjoyment includes wreaking as much havoc as possible in our fair city of San Paro.

Membership - Expectations

If you are interested in joining The Eminence, you should understand what we expect from our members.

Respect

We expect all members to show maturity and respect for their fellow guild mates. Friendly joking is always welcomed, but be sure not to take things too far. By too far we mean racial slander, intentionally provoking guild members, posting derogatory or inflammatory remarks on the forum, and causing unnecessary drama.

Activity

We also seek active members. We understand that this is a game, and the players do indeed have lives they must attend to, but regular game activity and the ability to attend guild events is a feature we seek - we're not asking you to play 6+ hours every day, just don't be inactive for 3+ days at a time without prior notice. Most of us will be online often, as we're dedicated to to gaming and representing TeC as a dominant force on our server.

Cooperation

We can not initiate and maintain a successful turf war unless the members can cooperate and work together. Cooperation is vital in any guild and is the root of organization. If you have an issue with a member, take it up with an officer and we will do our best to solve it while avoiding drama - our dirty laundry is not publicly aired.

Ventrilo

We currently have a 25 user slot Ventrilo server, and we believe it will serve good purpose in both coordinated assaults and general mayhem. Due to this we ask that all members please obtain a Ventrilo client (free of charge) from Ventrilo.com During this pre-game bonding phase everyone is welcomed to come on Vent and chat it up
with the members. This provides an opportunity to get to know us better and, more importantly, in real time.

Structure - Ranks

The guild's rank system is very simplistic, this is to avoid heavy guild member conflicts in regards to rank advancement. There is an established core leadership represented by the Guild Leader and Officers. The Guild Leader has the final say in how the guild as a whole progresses, resolves conflicts, and the overall direction we
will head. The Officers handle the daily business of recruitment, conflict resolution, PR, and providing suggestions
to the Guild Leader as they see fit.

As a new member, you will obtain the rank of Recruit. Once you have proven yourself you will advanced to Member and receive the highly coveted TeC Title. As a member, you're now responsible to uphold our core
values and beliefs everywhere you go as a representative of The Eminence.
